Annual Meeting and Election of the Executive Board June 16th, 2006 |

The Annual Meeting of the Westwood Historical Society will take place at the Fisher School, followed by a light lunch on Saturday 16th at 12:30 pm Members will caravan by private vehicles to the Deacon Willard Lewis House; home of the Walpole Historical Society since 1972. The house was built by Horatio Wood in 1826, sold to Harlow Lawrence mill owner in 1863. The mill is now owned by Kendall Co. Features of the house include a beautiful spiral staircase, huge fireplace and a brick oven in the cellar. The Lewis House is the only house in Walpole listed on the National Register of Historic Sites. All members of the Society are welcome to join us for the light lunch and tour..
