Fisher School
Holiday Cards at The Olde Shoppe
For
the holidays the society is offering boxed holiday cards with a photograph
of the Fisher School in winter for $8. (The cards are also available at
The Perfect Present.) Also, a framed Dedham and West Dedham 8" x
10" map is a recent addition ($20) in the Society's Olde Shoppe. Ray
Wolloff has framed these interesting pieces of West Dedham history taken
from the 1876 survey and record map published in New York. A wonderful
holiday gift would be a cobalt blue cup plate, commissioned by the
Pairpoint Glass Factory, featuring Margaret Philbrick's drawing of the
schoolhouse selling for $12. Also, limited edition signed prints of Tom
Dunlay's oil painting of the Fisher School are available. These and other
Historical Society items are available for sale at the Fisher School, 830
High Street, open on the first Sunday of the month from 2-4 pm.
